Hastelloy C2000 Product Introduction
Product Overview
Hastelloy C2000 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy developed by Haynes International (USA), tailored for extreme mixed acid environments. Its optimized composition design (higher molybdenum content enhances reductive acid resistance, while balanced chromium ensures oxidative corrosion protection) enables it to outperform traditional nickel-based alloys in resisting sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acids, and chloride-containing media. It maintains stable mechanical properties at temperatures up to 650°C, with excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular corrosion. Widely used in critical components for chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, and oil & gas extraction, it is the benchmark material for harsh corrosive conditions where conventional alloys fail to meet performance requirements.

Product Characteristics
1.Superior Corrosion Resistance: Excels in both reductive (sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid) and oxidative (nitric acid, hypochlorite) media, with exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich environments (e.g., seawater, brine);
2.Reliable High-Temperature Performance: Sustains stable mechanical strength and corrosion resistance below 650°C, suitable for cyclic high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions;
3.Excellent Processability: Compatible with conventional manufacturing processes (welding, forging, rolling, machining); post-weld corrosion resistance is maintained without complex heat treatment;
4.Strong Structural Stability: Low-carbon composition + balanced alloying elements prevent intergranular corrosion and brittle phase precipitation, ensuring long-term service reliability.
Metallographic Structure
At room temperature, it features a face-centered cubic crystal structure (austenitic matrix) with no harmful precipitated phases. Even after long-term exposure to high temperatures or corrosive environments, its microstructure remains stable, avoiding brittleness or performance degradation.
