VIMM–ISME Vietnam 2019, the International Steel and Metal Engineering Exhibition, was held from November 27 to 30, 2019, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event brought together companies and professionals from the steel, metallurgy, metal processing, welding, casting, and related engineering industries.
The 2019 edition combined the 10th International Steel and Metal Engineering Exhibition (ISME Vietnam) with the 6th International Exhibition on Metallurgy, Steel Pipes and Metal Processing (VIMM). The exhibitions were held alongside Metal & Weld 2019, creating a broader platform for companies involved in metalworking and industrial manufacturing. The event was organized with the involvement of Vietnamese industry associations, including the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), the Vietnam Foundry and Metallurgy Science and Technology Association (VFMSTA), the Vietnam Welding Society (VWS), and the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises (VAMI).
VIMM ISME 2019 covered a wide range of products, equipment, materials, and technologies used throughout the steel and metal engineering industries. Exhibition categories included steel and steel pipes, cast iron and steel, metallurgy, casting, metal processing, machine tools, welding and cutting equipment, refractory materials, surface treatment solutions, testing and measuring equipment, and related components and accessories.
The exhibition featured approximately 115 booths, giving manufacturers, suppliers, engineering companies, and industry professionals an opportunity to present their products and explore business connections. In addition to product displays, the event included technical seminars, industry discussions, B2B activities, technology presentations, and exchanges related to investment, manufacturing, and technological development.
These activities made the exhibition a useful meeting point for companies looking to understand developments in the steel and metal industries, identify potential suppliers, exchange technical information, and explore opportunities for cooperation.
